At each of the two fora about eight hundred people attended the CEO Panel session, in the presence of all their CEO’s. Also present were senior representatives of international NGO’s such as the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN), as well as the World Bank and UNESCO.

At the forum in Kyoto in 2003, the CEO Panel members gave visual presentations on their companies’ active and practical participation in:

Integrated Water Resource Management projects around the world

designing an educational toolkit on water for schoolchildren

publishing a white paper on “Valuing Water for Better Governance”

proposing a sustainable water facility to attract private financing for water projects

making publicly available corporations’ experiences in sustainable water resource use in agriculture and forestry projects.
